Glasgow-based company BRB Electrical Ltd. was formed in 2003 and has since developed expertise in the plumbing and heating industry. BRB services a number of sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure and residential. Its clients include building contractors, retailers and housing associations.
BRB’s team of dedicated engineers provide its customers with 24-hour support 365 days a year across Scotland. Currently half of BRB’s staff are using Joblogic, which has become crucial to the company’s day-to-day operations.
Joblogic has saved us both time and resources, and we have seen an increase in back-office productivity. With instant access to certificates, job reports and photos we can save valuable time and this also means no more missing paperwork.
BRB has now been using Joblogic for over 2 years after signing up in July 2018. Office Manager, Nicola Mallon, explained that they had previously used gas engineer software but found this to be too basic and couldn’t provide her and her team with adequate reporting functions and job forms. Without a proper reporting system, Nicola found it difficult to drive business decisions due to insufficient data.
Once Nicola discovered Joblogic, she booked a demo with one of our experts which she said gave her a good understanding of the benefits of the software before she switched providers. Joblogic appealed to Nicola as it could give her greater control over the ability to manage multiple customers and sites. One of the biggest benefits for Nicola was the ability to manage individual customer accounts and job costs more effectively.
Joblogic’s plumbing and heating software has helped BRB save time and money in its daily operations. Nicola was especially pleased with the diary management capabilities, which gives her more control over her engineers’ schedules. Nicola’s back-office team can now create a job, choose a customer and assign it to one of her engineers in a couple of clicks. This allows BRB to dispatch work far quicker which can greatly improve the productivity of Nicola’s staff and increase the number of jobs completed daily.
Joblogic's mobile engineer app has given BRB live, two-way communication between the back office and engineers. Jobs can be deployed to engineers who can update job information instantly in the field. This helps to ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and legible.
Joblogic's Account Integration has eliminated the need for accounting information to be input manually, ensuring that there are no potential miscalculations. With access to current job and costing information, BRB has eliminated the double entry of data as well as potential mistakes.
The software allows multiple people to log and view jobs at the same time. Nicola and her team can see the status of each job in real-time as it progresses from creation to completion. Joblogic keeps both customers and management informed on job progress and an invoice can be sent instantly on completion.
With bespoke Mobile Forms, BRB’s field engineers can be compliant with the necessary health and safety requirements before completing any task onsite. Using the mobile form builder, forms can be custom made to meet specific industry requirements. Engineers can then use the mobile app to complete these forms as required.
