Joblogic vs Workever

Workever is a likeable UK job management tool for small teams, with honest pricing at £29 to £39 per user. Its own comparison content concedes the rest: Joblogic is the one "chosen by larger companies" with stock, purchasing and asset management. Here is the full picture, with their concessions kept in.

The short answer

Workever is UK job management software for small field teams: two transparent tiers at £29 and £39 per user per month, no contracts, with jobs, scheduling, quoting, forms, basic stock and a customer portal. It has no SLA management, no PPM planner, no SFG20, no F-Gas, no gas certificates and no Sage integration, and its own content describes it as best for businesses up to 250 people while crediting Joblogic as the choice of larger companies. Joblogic includes contract and SLA management, 52-week PPM planning, native UK compliance and deep reporting as core product. For a small reactive team, Workever is decent value. For contract and compliance work, even Workever points you here. And only one of the two is building toward an agentic operating system for service contractors.

The money

What it actually costs

Both sides publish prices, which makes this the rare comparison you can do with a calculator. The real question is what the top of each range can carry.

Joblogic: priced for contract operations

Published pricing from £45 per licence per month. We don't do monthly contracts; most customers stay for years, and some for decades.

  • Job management, scheduling, quoting, invoicing
  • Contracts, SLAs and 52-week PPM planning
  • Asset registers, stock, purchase orders
  • F-Gas (REFCOM), SFG20, gas certificates, form builder
  • Dashboard designer, customer and subcontractor portals
  • Built-in AI assistant, included as standard

The capability ceiling a maintenance contract actually needs.

Workever: two tiers, then the ceiling

£29 Base / £39 Ultimate per user per month. No contracts. Honest pricing for what it covers.

  • Base: jobs, scheduling, quotes, invoices, mobile apps
  • Forms, stock, assets, service contracts, portal: Ultimate only
  • SLA management: not at any tier
  • PPM planner, SFG20, F-Gas, gas certificates: not at any tier
  • Dashboards and BI: not at any tier
  • Sage integration: not available

£39 is the top of the range. The gap is what no tier can add.

Price both against the work in your pipeline, not the work in your history. If SLAs, PPM or certificates appear in your next three tenders, the cheaper tool is the more expensive choice.

Setting the record straight

What their comparison page says about us, answered

Workever runs a "Joblogic alternative" page. Unusually for this genre, half of it agrees with us. Here is each claim against the record.

Their claim Joblogic is "often chosen by larger companies", with "more features that are better suited to larger businesses, including stock control, purchase tracking, and asset management".
The record We agree, with one correction: those features are not enterprise luxuries. The first maintenance contract a ten-person business wins needs asset history and stock visibility on day one. Their concession is accurate about us and revealing about them.
Their claim "JobLogic does not clearly advertise its integrations."
The record For the avoidance of doubt: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow and FreeAgent for accounting; PartsArena for parts data; REFCOM partnership for F-Gas. Workever lists Xero, QuickBooks and Stripe, with no Sage. We are happy for both lists to be read side by side.
Their claim Joblogic "starts at £45 per month... However, JobLogic requires you to request pricing".
The record Our pricing is published, with prices from £45 per licence; more in-depth or feature-rich configurations are priced on request. Transparency claims age quickly in this market; check both pricing pages today rather than either vendor's description of the other.
Their claim "Workever comes out on top with regards to how powerful it is."
The record The same page that says this also credits Joblogic with the stock, purchasing and asset capability Workever lacks, and Workever offers no SLA management, no PPM planner, no SFG20, no F-Gas and no dashboards at any tier. The sentence is doing work the feature list cannot.

Where Workever is genuinely strong

Credit where due. Workever's pricing is transparent and contract-free, its ease-of-use and support scores are strong (on a small review base), the mobile apps work offline, the form builder is real, and a public product roadmap is a nice touch of confidence. It is UK-based too. For a small reactive field team that needs jobs, quotes and invoices sorted this month, it is a fair shout. For the work this page is about, their own content already told you where to look.

Where the platform is going

Everyone is adding AI. The more useful question is what it's built on.

For thirty years, field service software has organised itself around the job. The coordination between jobs, contracts, compliance and cash has been carried by people: in spreadsheets, in inboxes, in someone's head. That is the gap the industry is now pointed at. The difference is the architecture underneath.

In the platform today

Intelligence inside the workflow, not beside it

Joblogic's built-in AI assistant catches missed actions and flags overdue jobs before they become failures. No third-party software, no separate licence, nothing new to manage. It works where your team already works, which is why it gets used.

In development, with early access customers

An agentic operating system for service contractors

Joblogic is building toward an agentic operating system for service contractors: a system that reads the contract, the compliance and the SLA tier as live rules, and absorbs the coordination the team used to carry. Less reconciliation after the fact. Earlier sight of delivery risk, while it is in flight. Fewer gaps between the office, the field and finance.

Your Joblogic platform continues exactly as it is. The agentic operating system is new and optional.

Operations in flow. Growth in motion. How this compares, in plain terms ↓
The differences that matter

Four reasons contractors choose Joblogic over Workever

01 · The ceiling

£39 is the top of their range, in every sense

Workever's Ultimate tier is where its capability ends: no SLAs, no PPM planner, no compliance modules, no dashboards above it. Joblogic's range exists because contract operations keep needing more, and the platform keeps having it.

02 · Compliance

A form builder is not a compliance system

Workever's form builder can draw a document. It cannot give you F-Gas tracking with REFCOM, SFG20-aligned maintenance, or gas certificates with an audit trail attached to assets. For regulated trades, that is the whole game.

03 · Evidence

Proven where you're heading

Workever's reviewer base is 92% small businesses, and their own page sends larger operations our way. East West Connect runs £20m of maintenance turnover on Joblogic; Accent Services scaled from £5m to £20m without changing systems.

04 · Direction

A platform that is going somewhere

Workever advertises no AI capability. Joblogic has AI working in the product today and an agentic operating system for service contractors in development with early access customers. Buy software for the next five years, not the last five.

For the decision maker

What the comparison means for your role

In a growing service business these hats are often shared. Here is the question through each.

Business Owner

Buy once for the next phase

Workever's own content marks the handover point. If your pipeline includes contract work, starting there means moving later, twice the disruption.

  • Contract, SLA and PPM capability from day one
  • Compliance the regulated trades demand
  • Headroom proven at £20m operations
Office Manager

Visibility past the job list

Job reports tell you what happened. Dashboards tell you what is happening, and what it is costing.

  • Dashboard designer for every role; Workever advertises job reports only
  • Invoicing from field data; Parr FM cut it from 15 minutes per job to about one
  • Missed actions flagged by built-in AI before customers call
Lead Engineer

The site in your pocket

Both products have offline mobile apps. The difference is what travels with the job.

  • Asset history, compliance forms and certificates on site
  • +25% first-time fix rates (William Austin Services)
  • 80% mobile adoption platform-wide
For your sector

Where the ceiling shows first

Workever targets plumbers, electricians, cleaners and gardeners. These are the sectors where its gaps are structural.

HVAC and refrigeration

No F-Gas capability exists in Workever at any tier. Joblogic's F-Gas module is native, built with REFCOM, with PartsArena integration for better first-time fix.

97% customer retention in our HVAC niche

Facilities management

Multi-site contracts need PPM discipline, SFG20 alignment and SLA evidence. Workever offers service contracts with auto job creation; the planning, specification and SLA layers do not exist. In Joblogic they are included.

+25% job logging efficiency (Parr FM)

Gas and heating

Workever has a form builder but no certificate engine: no CP12s with an audit trail. Joblogic includes gas certificates alongside the form builder, attached to assets and sites.

Invoicing per job cut from 15 minutes to about 1 minute (Parr FM)

Five questions to ask before you pick

Ask us these. Ask Workever these. The answers tell you which phase each product is built for.

  • 1 Show me SLA tracking against a real contract. Not a form, the tracking.
  • 2 Where do F-Gas records and gas certificates live, and what is the audit trail?
  • 3 What can your reporting show me about contract margin, not just job status?
  • 4 Does your own comparison content say who the bigger operations choose? (Theirs does.)

Questions answered

Joblogic vs Workever: frequently asked questions

Is Workever cheaper than Joblogic?
At the door, yes: £29 to £39 per user per month, contract-free, and the pricing is admirably clear. The comparison that matters is capability: no SLA management, PPM planner, SFG20, F-Gas, gas certificates or dashboards exist at any Workever tier.
Is Workever a good Joblogic alternative?
For small reactive field teams, it is a reasonable tool with honest pricing. Workever's own comparison page describes Joblogic as the choice of larger companies with stock, purchasing and asset management. For contract and compliance work, both vendors are effectively pointing the same way.
Does Workever do SLA management?
No. The "Service Level Agreement" link on their site is their own uptime promise to customers, not a product feature. Joblogic includes SLA management against your customer contracts as core product.
Does Workever do F-Gas, SFG20 or gas certificates?
No. Site-wide searches return zero results for all three as of June 2026. Joblogic includes F-Gas (built with REFCOM), SFG20 integration and gas certificates natively.
Does Workever integrate with Sage?
No Sage integration is advertised; their accounting integrations are Xero and QuickBooks, plus Stripe for payments. Joblogic integrates with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow and FreeAgent.

Is Joblogic's pricing public?
Yes. Workever's comparison page claims Joblogic requires you to request pricing; check both pricing pages directly today rather than either vendor's description of the other.
Can I move my data from Workever to Joblogic?
Yes. Customers, jobs, assets and history come across in a structured migration, and your service contracts get rebuilt as full contract and PPM structures. Workever is contract-free, so timing is yours.
When should a business move from Workever to Joblogic?
When SLAs, planned maintenance, compliance certificates or margin reporting appear in your pipeline. Workever's Ultimate tier is the top of its range; if your next contract needs more than it holds, move before the contract starts, not after.
How long does implementation take?
For teams stepping up from a small-team tool, implementation is sized accordingly; your scoping call gives you a real timeline in writing.
Where is my data hosted and who owns it?
Joblogic is a UK company with data hosted in the UK, ISO 27001 accredited, GDPR compliant and penetration tested. Your data remains yours, with structured export available if you ever leave.
