Comparison

Joblogic vs Jobber

Jobber is excellent software for North American home-service businesses, which is exactly why it tops US-weighted review charts. It prices in US dollars, supports from North America, and has no UK compliance capability. If you run a UK service business, the comparison looks very different from the league tables.

The short answer

Jobber is home-service software built for the North American market: pricing is in USD only, automatic payments and ACH exclude the UK, and there is no support for UK requirements like CP12 gas certificates, F-Gas compliance, CIS or Sage integration. It also has no contract or SLA management, no PPM schedules and no asset management, and plans cap at 15 included users. Joblogic is UK-built for service contractors, with GBP pricing, 24/7 support, native gas and F-Gas compliance, SFG20, and full contract, asset and subcontractor management. For UK home-service businesses that mainly want marketing tools, Jobber can still appeal. For UK service contractors, it is the wrong continent and the wrong kind of work. And only one of the two is building toward an agentic operating system for service contractors.

The money

What it actually costs

Jobber's self-serve pricing is admirably transparent, in dollars. The UK buyer's question is what the sticker becomes after FX, add-ons and per-user fees, and what it still doesn't include.

Joblogic: priced in pounds, built for contract work

Published pricing from £45 per licence per month. We don't do monthly contracts; most customers stay for years, and some for decades.

  • Job management, scheduling, quoting, invoicing
  • Contracts, SLAs and 52-week PPM planning
  • Asset registers with QR tagging
  • Gas certificates, F-Gas (REFCOM), SFG20
  • Customer and subcontractor portals
  • Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow, FreeAgent
  • Built-in AI assistant, included as standard

One currency, one country's compliance, one licence.

Jobber: the stack builds in dollars

Core $49, Connect $139, Grow $199, Plus $699 per month (list, USD). Annual discounts available.

  • Booking, quotes, invoices, scheduling
  • Extra users: $29 per user per month, every plan
  • Job costing, two-way SMS, automations: Grow tier and up
  • Marketing Suite $79, AI Receptionist $99, Pipeline $49 monthly add-ons
  • Card processing 2.9% + 30c
  • FX exposure on every invoice; no GBP price list
  • Contracts, SLAs, PPM, assets, UK compliance: not available at any price

Reviewers describe bills passing $500-600 a month once the stack assembles.

Before you sign anything, ask any vendor for a three-year total cost in your currency: licences, users, add-ons, processing fees. We will give you ours in pounds as part of onboarding.

Setting the record straight

What the league tables say, and what they leave out

Jobber runs no comparison page against Joblogic; it does not need to, because US-weighted review charts do the work. If you found Jobber through a "best field service software" list, here is the context the list skipped.

The chart says Jobber is the #1 rated field service software.
What it leaves out Rated by a reviewer base that is overwhelmingly North American home-service businesses: lawn care, cleaning, pools, junk removal. The rating is real. Its relevance to a UK contractor running gas, refrigeration or FM contracts is not. Match the reviewer to your business before you trust the stars.
The chart says Jobber serves 100,000+ service businesses.
What it leaves out Which country they are in and what work they do. Jobber's own pricing page prices in USD only, restricts automatic payments and ACH to the US and Canada, and lists no UK office. The product is honest about its home market; the league tables just don't mention it.
The chart says Jobber is great value from $29 a month.
What it leaves out That is one user, annual billing, entry tier. Reviewers describe real bills passing $500-600 monthly once users, Grow-tier features, add-ons and processing fees stack. And no tier, at any price, adds UK compliance, contracts, SLAs or asset management.
The chart says Jobber has the most polished app and onboarding.
What it leaves out Nothing. This one is simply true, and if you are a home-services business in Toronto we would not talk you out of it. Polish is not the question for a UK contractor. CP12s, F-Gas records and SLA evidence are, and they are not in the app.

Where Jobber is genuinely strong

Credit where due. Jobber's product is polished and its brand deservedly strong: clean UX, fast onboarding, transparent self-serve pricing, and a marketing suite (booking, review management, AI receptionist) that genuinely helps consumer-facing businesses win work. For North American home services it is a fine choice. None of that is the job UK service contractors need done, and the rest of this page is the part the league tables skip.

Where the platform is going

Everyone is adding AI. The more useful question is what it's built on.

For thirty years, field service software has organised itself around the job. The coordination between jobs, contracts, compliance and cash has been carried by people: in spreadsheets, in inboxes, in someone's head. That is the gap the industry is now pointed at. The difference is the architecture underneath.

In the platform today

Intelligence inside the workflow, not beside it

Joblogic's built-in AI assistant catches missed actions and flags overdue jobs before they become failures. No third-party software, no separate licence, nothing new to manage. It works where your team already works, which is why people use it.

In development, with early access customers

An agentic operating system for service contractors

Joblogic is building toward an agentic operating system for service contractors: a system that reads the contract, the compliance and the SLA tier as live rules, and absorbs the coordination the team used to carry. Less reconciliation after the fact. Earlier sight of delivery risk, while it is in flight. Fewer gaps between the office, the field and finance.

Your Joblogic platform continues exactly as it is. The agentic operating system is new and optional.

The differences that matter

Four reasons UK contractors choose Joblogic over Jobber

01 · Geography

Built where you work

Joblogic prices in pounds, supports from the UK around the clock with a 2-minute average response, and integrates with Sage as well as Xero and QuickBooks. Jobber prices in dollars, publishes no UK support presence, and its automatic payment features stop at the Canadian border.

02 · Compliance

Compliance Jobber has never heard of

CP12 gas certificates, F-Gas tracking built with REFCOM, SFG20 maintenance specifications: none of these exist in Jobber, because its market never asks. In Joblogic they are native, because ours always does. You cannot run compliant gas or refrigeration work on software that does not know the regulations exist.

03 · Kind of work

Commercial work, not just home visits

Jobber's feature set ends where commercial contracting begins: no contracts, no SLAs, no PPM, no asset registers, no subcontractor management, and a 15-included-user ceiling. Joblogic runs multi-site maintenance contracts as standard; East West Connect runs £20m of maintenance turnover on it.

04 · Cost shape

The price you see is the price you plan

Jobber's review base increasingly describes stacking costs: per-user fees, add-on modules and processing charges pushing bills well past the sticker. Joblogic's pricing is published in GBP with the operational features included.

For the evaluation committee

What the comparison means for your role

Software decisions are made by three people with three different fears. Here is the Joblogic vs Jobber question through each pair of eyes.

Operations Director

Operations that match UK reality

The structural question: can the platform run the work your contracts actually describe, in the country they are signed in?

  • SLAs, PPM and asset registers as core product; Jobber has none of the three
  • No 15-user ceiling as the team grows
  • Support in your working hours, and outside them
Finance Director

One currency, no surprises

USD billing means FX exposure on every invoice and a forecast that moves with the exchange rate. Then the add-ons arrive.

  • From £45 per licence per month, published
  • Sage integration; Jobber has none
  • Job costing with P&L per job and per contract, included rather than tier-gated
Service Delivery Manager

The paperwork your clients demand

UK commercial clients ask for certificates, compliance records and SLA evidence. The platform either produces them or you build a parallel system in spreadsheets.

  • CP12s, F-Gas logs and custom forms attached to assets and sites
  • +25% first-time fix rates (William Austin Services)
  • Missed actions flagged by built-in AI before the client notices
For your sector

Where the gap is unbridgeable

For some UK sectors, Jobber is not a weaker option; it is not an option. These are the three clearest.

HVAC and refrigeration

F-Gas obligations make software without refrigerant tracking a non-starter. Joblogic's F-Gas module is native, built with REFCOM; Jobber has no equivalent and no UK compliance content anywhere on its site.

97% customer retention in our HVAC niche

Facilities management

Multi-site contracts need PPM discipline, SFG20 alignment and SLA evidence. Jobber has recurring scheduling for home visits; it has no PPM planner, no SFG20 and no contract management at any tier.

+25% job logging efficiency (Parr FM)

Gas and heating

A CP12 is not optional paperwork; it is the law of the landlord market. Jobber has no UK certificate capability. Joblogic includes gas certificates alongside a form builder for everything else your work demands.

Five questions to ask in any FSM demo

Ask us these. Ask Jobber these. The answers separate the platforms faster than any feature tour.

  • 1 What currency will my invoice arrive in, and who carries the exchange-rate risk?
  • 2 Show me a CP12 and an F-Gas record produced inside the product. Not a workaround, the product.
  • 3 Where does support sit, in which time zone, and what is the average response time?
  • 4 Show me a commercial contract with SLA tracking, planned visits and asset history end to end.
  • 5 What does the bill look like at my real team size, with the features I actually need, after add-ons?
Questions answered

Joblogic vs Jobber: frequently asked questions

Does Jobber work in the UK?
Partially. Jobber functions in the UK and supports card payments and SMS there, but prices only in USD, publishes no UK support presence, and has no UK compliance features (CP12, F-Gas, CIS, SFG20). Automatic payments and ACH are US and Canada only.
Is Jobber available in pounds?
No. Jobber's pricing page states "All prices in USD" with no currency selector as of June 2026. UK buyers carry FX exposure plus any card cross-border fees. Joblogic prices in GBP.
Is Jobber cheaper than Joblogic?
Jobber's plans run $29 to $699 per month (USD) with $29 per additional user and add-ons for marketing, receptionist and pipeline features. Converted and stacked, costs are comparable to or higher than Joblogic for real teams, without the contract, compliance or asset capability.
Can Jobber handle commercial maintenance contracts?
No. Jobber has no contract management, SLA tracking, PPM scheduling, asset management or subcontractor management. It is designed for residential and light commercial home services.
Does Jobber do CP12 gas certificates or F-Gas?
No. Searches of Jobber's site return no CP12, gas safety certificate, F-Gas or CIS content. UK gas and refrigeration contractors need these natively; Joblogic includes them.
Why does Jobber top the review charts?
Because its reviewer base is enormous and happy: North American home-service businesses, where Jobber genuinely excels. Review charts weight volume, and most volume is not UK commercial contracting. Match the reviewer profile to your business before trusting any chart, including ones that favour us.
Does Jobber integrate with Sage?
No Sage integration is mentioned anywhere on Jobber's site. Their pricing table lists QuickBooks Online and Xero sync, while their own FAQ on the same page mentions only QuickBooks Online. Joblogic integrates with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow and FreeAgent.
Does Joblogic have AI?
Yes, working in the product today: a built-in assistant that detects missed actions and flags overdue jobs, with no separate licensing. Jobber's AI features lean toward marketing (AI receptionist) and sit on top tiers or paid add-ons. Beyond that, Joblogic is building toward an agentic operating system for service contractors, in pilot with early access customers now.
What is the best UK alternative to Jobber?
For UK service contractors, Joblogic is the direct UK-built equivalent: gas and F-Gas compliance, SFG20, contract and SLA management, asset registers, GBP pricing and 24/7 support. For UK home-service businesses that mainly want marketing tools, evaluate both honestly.
Can I move my data from Jobber to Joblogic?
Yes. Customers, jobs and history come across in a structured migration, recurring visits get rebuilt as PPM schedules, and your UK compliance gets a system of record for the first time.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the size of your operation; your scoping call gives you a real timeline in writing. Most customers are live within 90 days. Larger or more complex setups take longer, because configuring the system properly is worth the time.
Does Joblogic have online booking and customer-facing tools like Jobber?
Joblogic includes a customer portal (jobs, quotes, invoices, reports under your brand) and automated customer alerts. Jobber's consumer marketing suite (review management, AI receptionist) is stronger for residential lead generation; that is its home turf and we say so.
Where is my data hosted and who owns it?
Joblogic is a UK company with data hosted in the UK, ISO 27001 accredited, GDPR compliant and penetration tested. Your data remains yours, with structured export available if you ever leave. Data processing terms are available for procurement review.
Does Joblogic cap the number of users?
No equivalent to Jobber's 15-included-user ceiling. Joblogic scales from small teams to enterprise operations; East West Connect runs £20m of maintenance turnover on the platform.
