Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

As Joblogic continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Frontend expertise to join our team in Vietnam, helping drive our product development and significantly impact our business success. 

What your main focus will be

  • Solve complex technical problems and influence the overall vision and long-term goals of the Frontend team, focusing on both technical and product aspects.
  • Address performance and optimization challenges at scale, demonstrating the ability to diagnose and prevent issues.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers and the Joblogic community by contributing to our workflow processes.
  • Assess and understand customers’ business workflows and challenges, providing effective solutions and resolving issues to support their growth.
  • Take ownership of tasks, driving product success by developing high-quality features that meet or exceed standards and expectations.
  • Support existing applications through upgrades and bug resolution.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and unit-testable code for front-end changes.
  • Enhance technical skills through code reviews and knowledge sharing, updating task tracking systems with accurate statuses and estimates.
  • Proactively share knowledge, assist teammates, and constructively raise concerns with proposed solutions to foster a collaborative learning environment.

What you bring

  • Solid foundation with JavaScript language
  • Hands-on experience with VueJS or another modern JavaScript web framework (ReactJS, Angular, Ember, etc.) and willingness to work with VueJS will be great!
  • Proven experience in leading frontend architecture decisions, including CI/CD processes for frontend (build pipelines, preview deployments), as well as expertise in Monorepo or micro-frontend approaches.
  • Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
  • A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
  • A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
  • Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha)
  • Basic experience and skills in backend technologies (e.g., .NET, Python)
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate frontend development workflows, ensure productivity and performance, along with the ability to keep up with AI evolution and effectively utilize it to enhance daily work and self-improvement.
  • Having a product, solution-oriented mindset focused on customer value and business outcomes.
  • Capable of communicating complex technical and organizational issues clearly and proposing effective iterative solutions.
  • Experienced in diagnosing and preventing performance and optimization challenges.
  • Comfortable working in an agile software development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate long-term within an organization.
  • Good teamwork and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Good communication, R&D skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Quick-adaptive to changes, proactive, eager to learn, and ready to spearhead initiatives
  • Intermediate English communication (both spoken and written)

Nice-to-have points

  • Knowledge/or experience with Azure cloud services (or AWS/GCP) 
  • Developer platform/tool industry experience  
  • Experience working with a global or otherwise multicultural team  
  • Experience contributing to open-source software  
  • Kendo UI / Stimulsoft / Survey JS  
  • Having a portfolio of your recent work is preferred
