Migrations Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Birmingham, United Kingdom

About the role

We are looking for a commercially focused, empathetic Migrations Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Migrations department and play a central role in our acquisition strategy.
This is not a traditional cold SDR role. Reporting into the Head of Migrations, you will be responsible for converting customers from acquired platforms (Clik, Protean, and Arantico) into qualified demo opportunities for Joblogic. You will work across all acquired customer bases from day one, engaging warm, known customers and guiding them toward a migration conversation.
Migrations work to a structured cohort framework — which informs how each account is approached, sequenced, and qualified. This is sales development with a defined playbook, not freeform outbound.
Success in this role comes from combining commercial focus with empathy — helping customers who did not originally choose Joblogic understand the value of moving onto our platform. You will build trust with existing customers, understand their current setup and concerns, position the value of migration, and book high-quality demos that build a strong pipeline.
You will own a demo booking and completion quota. As the migration function scales, this role offers a clear progression path into a Migration Sales Executive (closing) role.

What your main focus will be

  • Convert marketing-led engagement (events, campaigns, webinars, email sequences) and structured outbound activity into qualified demo opportunities across the Clik, Protean, and Arantico customer bases.
  • Run structured discovery conversations to understand current operations, dependencies, and key concerns, and qualify each account against the cohort framework.
  • Adapt messaging by acquired base — and handle objections around pricing, feature gaps, and disruption risk.
  • Own and deliver against a monthly demo booking quota, building and managing a clean pipeline through to qualified handover to the Migration Sales Executive team.
  • Support migration customer events (in-person), engaging attendees before and after to convert event interest into pipeline — events are a meaningful and growing source of qualified demand.
  • Maintain accurate, structured records in HubSpot and feed structured customer insight (objections, perceived gaps, pricing perception) back into marketing, sales enablement, and product/GTM strategy.

What you bring

  • 2–5 years' experience in SDR / BDR / Inside Sales or customer-facing commercial roles.
  • Proven ability to book demos or generate qualified opportunities and consistently deliver against quota.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a pipeline within a CRM (preferably HubSpot) with strong data hygiene and structured follow-up.
  • Comfortable working from marketing-generated engagement and converting warm interest into commercial conversations.
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills — able to ask the right questions, listen actively, and progress conversations toward outcomes.
  • Empathy and customer awareness — able to navigate sensitive migration conversations and preserve customer trust through change.
  • Commercial mindset, structured approach, and pipeline discipline; resilient but measured under target pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills in British English (written and verbal), with the ability to simplify complex platform and migration concepts.

Nice-to-have points

  • SaaS or software sales experience.
  • Experience working with existing customers — upsell, migration, or retention motions.
  • Exposure to FSM, CAFM, compliance software, or operational/service-based industries.
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Salesloft, Apollo, or Lusha.
  • Experience working within high-growth SaaS or post-acquisition / migration environments.

Remuneration package and benefits

  • Market competitive base salary + commission — primarily linked to demo bookings, with secondary contribution to closed revenue.
  • Opportunity to work within a global SaaS product company backed by Vista Equity Partners.
  • Regular company events and team activities.
  • Learning and development through Joblogic Academy.
  • Access to internal training and product leadership mentoring.
