Mid/Senior QC Automation Engineer

About the role

As Joblogic continues to grow, we are looking for a Mid/Senior QC Automation Engineer to join our team in Vietnam, helping drive our product development and significantly impact our business success. 

What your main focus will be

  • Collaborate with the manual testing team to review test cases, ensuring all requirements are testable and suitable for automation.
  • Attend meetings with the development team to assess Acceptance Criteria, determining which can be automated for efficiency.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, regression test scripts, and defect reports.
  • Provide accurate testing estimates and actively participate in project planning to align testing efforts with project timelines.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by learning and evaluating new tools and technologies that enhance test execution and improve overall testing efficiency as needed.
  • Ensure a positive end-user experience for supported applications by implementing thorough testing processes and addressing user feedback.
  • Conduct R&D initiatives to apply AI/ML in testing (e.g., automated test case generation, defect prediction, log analysis, and self-healing automation).
  • Use AI tools (Flowise, OpenAI, Azure AI) to streamline test design, risk assessment, and reporting.
  • Other tasks upon available request.

What you bring

  • Strong proficiency in OOP languages (such as Java, Python, or C#); and having experience or willingness to work with work with C#, .NET is preferable.
  • Solid understanding of web parallel testing, mobile automation, API testing, and web services.
  • Knowledge/or experience with CICD Azure pipeline.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6 or Locust).
  • Skills in workflow automation using N8N and AI tools (Flowise, OpenAI).
  • Proficient in JIRA management and Agile SDLC practices.
  • Experience developing testing workflows using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and Postman, as well as source control tools like Git and SourceTree.
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL queries (SQL Server) required.

  • Possess R&D skills and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex problems.
  • Quick-adaptive to changes, proactive, eager to learn, and ready to spearhead our automation testing initiatives.
  • Intermediate English communication (both spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with design patterns as POM
  • Knowledge of security testing, non-relational databases (MongoDB), and Playwright.
  • Having leadership skills is a big plus
