Building services companies and property managers need to store details of fixed assets such as mechanical plant to ensure safety and compliance. If the asset register in a building is inaccurate then it’s impossible to ensure that maintenance is being carried out thoroughly, and that both uptime and safety obligations are being met.

Building maintenance contractors need an easy way to survey buildings when tendering for or taking on the maintenance of buildings. The Joblogic Mobile App enables an engineer to quickly record the details of each item of equipment during a site survey. When adding a new item of plant the mobile app will ask the engineer for the type of asset which is selected from a dropdown list of library items.
The engineer can then provide a fuller description e.g. make and model. They can also record serial number, location and installation date. If required, the engineer can apply a QR code and scan the code. This will then prompt the engineer to complete the new asset form. QR codes are ideal for ongoing maintenance as the engineer can scan the asset and Joblogic will display all of the asset detail including service history. Finally the engineer can classify the condition of the equipment. This can be updated with each service
Site Asset Register
Once the asset details are recorded on Joblogic Mobile they appear instantly in the back office system against the relevant customer site. If the mobile app is not being used an administrator can enter the items manually into Joblogic. The site asset register can be exported to Excel or emailed as a pdf report to the client. You can also give your customers access to it via the Customer Portal. This gives the customer the ability to see all of their buildings and assets and log faults or monitor planned maintenance, without needing to call you.
All forms completed on Joblogic Mobile are auto attached to the job so that the back office can check them, and if required, email them onto customers. If customers are using the portal the whole process is automated without the need for intervention from the office.
Joblogic's Asset Management System not only records the details of site equipment, it also allows you to create planned maintenance schedules. PPM visits can be set for any frequency e.g. weekly or monthly.
Your planner can get rid of multiple Excel sheets and generate maintenance visits from a single system. A spec code from a library e.g. SFG20 can be added to each asset. This will provide the planner with a forecast time for each equipment service and help them to plan labour resource.
