Future Product Plans for Joblogic Enterprise

Future Product Plans for Joblogic Enterprise

Dear Joblogic Customer,

It’s been the busiest start to a new year since we can remember here at Joblogic.

You have probably seen a lot of stuff on social media about the new web version of Joblogic and maybe some unfamiliar screenshots showcasing the new product.

You are probably thinking, “when do I get to use this brand new system?” Do not worry, we have not forgotten about you. We are really keen to get all our loyal customers (many of who have been using the system for well over a decade) established onto the web system. But, we need to ensure that we make the transition as smooth as possible for you.

So, what are we doing about it? Now, we’ve just commissioned a gap analysis. This means we’re analysing the features that each of our customers uses, and comparing it to the feature set in the new system. Once we have completed this, we will be contacting suitable customers to register their interest for transferring onto the new version.

As we add more and more features, we will be contacting the remaining customers to ensure that we offer the new system to everyone.

In terms of progress, we are picking up the pace. Currently, the web version of Joblogic can log jobs, plan preventative maintenance, schedule jobs into a diary, raise quotes and invoices. It works with both the Joblogic Mobile App and Customer Portal. Our web version has a fantastic customer notifications feature for auto-email and text messages. This allows customers to keep up-to-date with a job from start to finish.

Next week, we will be getting to work on the Purchase Orders module. We expect this to take between 3-4 weeks to deliver. Then, we will be left with some advanced billing functions and the Stock Control module to complete, before we have a decent match on features.

It is important to note that we are not simply trying to replicate the current system onto a newer technology. If that were the case, we would have completed this project a long time ago. Since taking over the business in 2013, it has been our goal to deliver a world-class system for loyal customers.

Mission-Statement

To ensure that everything we deliver is developed with the end-user in mind, we have changed the whole approach to software development. We have heavily invested in graphic design and user experience consultancy. We are now hosted on the brilliant Microsoft Azure Cloud, which brings the power of Microsoft’s infrastructure directly to you.

Also, we are eager to introduce new features to the product. These will include, a two-way email communication, true CRM functions and real-time integration. These features will be available for all major account packages, including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.

There are lots of reasons to be excited about the next generation of Joblogic. We would like to thank you for your ongoing loyalty, as we create a migration path which works well for your business.

To round up, we would like to inform you about how we are going forward with desktop. We have upgraded the safety and performance of the server. To find out more, click here.
