At Joblogic, we’re fortunate to have a strong business backed up by our fantastic customers, resilient industry sector and strong subscription model. We’ve been in business since 1998 and have experienced rapid growth over the past few years building from 11 employees in 2013 to 80 today.
Having said that, we recognise that there are no guarantees and that companies in all industries are nervous about the future right now. To give you some extra peace of mind, we have decided to offer a free service to all of our customers, to help protect your valuable business data, until 31st December 2020. This service, known as Escrow, means that your data will be protected by a third party software security company. In the unlikely event that Joblogic goes out of business and is unable to fulfil its contract with Microsoft (our hosting partner), your Escrow agreement will be activated and all of your data will be released back to you.
What is Escrow?
Escrow is an agreement between three parties that ensures the availability of business-critical data for customers, whilst protecting the ownership and Intellectual Property Rights of the suppliers. An escrow agreement is designed to mitigate risk and protect all parties involved.
The partnership with a third-party company, Second City Software Limited, protects our clients and their data, by safely depositing copies into a secure vault. Your data will then be automatically sent to you, in the highly unlikely scenario that triggers a release event.
To activate your free service to protect your data, all Joblogic users who joined before July 2020, should have received an email to their primary contact, containing their agreement. Please ensure that the correct person of authority (i.e. CEO, Director, Service Manager etc.) signs this agreement. Once accepted, your service is completely free for your business until 31st December 2020, with no automatic renewal.

What does this mean for me?
During these uncertain times, we have been receiving a number of enquiries from concerned customers asking, ‘What happens to our data in the event that Joblogic is not able to operate?’. Fortunately, we have a strong business model which means that any risk to our business and your data is extremely low. However, we would still like to offer you some extra peace of mind with a service to protect your data, completely free of charge, to all customers until 31st December 2020. We will be emailing agreements to all customers, which must be signed to activate this free service. There is no fee, no commitment and no automatic renewal at the end of the contract, unless requested.
Protecting your data is normally cost prohibitive to most companies. Joblogic have exclusively partnered with Second City Software to keep the ongoing costs as low as possible. The free introduction period means that your data is protected until the end of 2020, with no additional cost to your business.

How to Activate Your Free Service
1. Click the ‘View Agreement and Sign to Activate’ button in your email. You will be taken to a secure third-party website, DocuSign, where you will be asked to submit your details in order to unlock your personalised agreement. You will then be presented with your agreement, where you can read through the document to familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions.
2. Input the required details and digitally sign the agreement.Please ensure that the correct person of authority (i.e. CEO, Director, Service Manager etc.) signs the agreement.
3. At the end of the agreement, we ask for two sets of contact details. It is important that we have this information in the event that data needs to be released back to you.
4. Once complete, click ‘Finish’ to sign and send the completed document. You can also download the signed agreement to keep for your records. Once accepted, your service is completely free for your business until 31st December 2020, with no automatic renewal.
