Thanks to Joblogic, tracking all of our jobs has been made far easier. The system’s accessibility is another big plus point, allowing the whole team to access Joblogic from anywhere.
Why did they choose Joblogic?
Wallace Contracts have been with Joblogic for 10 years now. The company made the switch to Joblogic’s new cloud-based system in March 2020, just as the country was going into lockdown. Operations Manager, Anthony Xuereb, explained that all the necessary training his team had to do could be done online. Anthony’s demos, with our specialist consultant, Erika, also helped him and his colleagues massively in understanding the new version of the software.
The new cloud system centralises all key job information and provides visibility to all members of staff about the progress of each job. Real-time communication across the business now allows all Wallace Contracts employees to be updated in real-time, helping to avoid the spread of misinformation between staff members. With over a year of remote working for many of Anthony’s colleagues, the portability of the software has allowed everyone to work from home without impeding on their work. Anthony cited the ease of logging into the software as a big positive of the web version. Anthony and his team also found that the layout of the new software was much better in comparison, along with improvements in general speed and the ability to have multiple tabs open at once.
What has been the biggest positive change?
Joblogic’s Facilities Management Software has been key to increase the efficiency of Wallace Contracts. Anthony feels however, that the software’s accessibility has had the biggest impact on the firm’s strategy. All of Wallace Contracts’ employees can now work remotely, including engineers, which allows them to access the software from any device.
The software allows multiple people to log and view jobs at the same time. Anthony and his team can see the status of each job in real-time as it progresses from creation to completion. Joblogic keeps both customers and management informed on job progress and an invoice can be sent instantly upon completion.
Dynamic dashboards play an important part in the day-to-day operations of Wallace Contracts. Anthony and his team have access to an extensive custom-built reporting platform which has allowed their users to visualise company data and make informed business decisions. All important KPI’s can be analysed in real-time, including engineer productivity, job profitability and highest value customers.
Wallace Contracts has also saved time with purchase ordering by giving engineers the ability to select parts that are needed on-site from a full parts library on their mobile device. This alerts the back office that parts are required and they can instantly raise the purchase order.
