Hertfordshire-based company Flow-Right is a drainage specialist who have become a leading name in the industry. Established in 2004, Flow-Right’s services are focused on commercial clients, working with restaurant groups, football stadiums, leisure complexes and more.

Flow-Right’s dedicated field staff provide support 24-hours a day, 365 days a year for emergency and bespoke solutions. All of Flow-Right’s employees have access to Joblogic which has since become crucial to their daily operations.

Why did they choose Joblogic?

Flow-Right implemented Joblogic just three months ago, having previously used software from another provider. Operations Manager, Chris Eland explained how he and his team struggled to extract any valuable data out of their previous software system. This, along with a dated design and a system which was hard for new users to understand prompted Chris to find a new and improved software solution.

The main benefits of Joblogic for the team were the reporting elements, specifically the ability to produce dashboards so that data can be visualised more effectively by him and his team. What has been the biggest positive change?

In the short time Flow-Right has been using the system, Joblogic’s drainage software has helped to save costs on a daily basis which can then be repurposed. Chris pinpointed the streamlining of invoicing as the biggest cost-saving benefit of the system. By automating this process, Chris and the team are able to turn a completed job into an invoice, in minutes. This has helped save time each day, as well as boosting company cash flow.

Which features have been most beneficial?

Joblogic's Account Integration has eliminated the need for accounting information to be input manually, ensuring that there are no potential miscalculations. With access to current job costing information, Flow-Right has eliminated the double entry of data as well as potential mistakes.

Joblogic's mobile engineer app has given Flow-Right live, two-way communication between the back office and engineers. Jobs can be deployed to engineers who can update job information instantly in the field. This helps to ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and legible.

Dynamic dashboards are beginning to play a major role in streamlining how Flow-Right’s jobs are run. The entire team has access to an extensive custom-built reporting platform. All KPIs can be analysed in real-time, including engineer productivity, job profitability and highest value customers. Seeing live, up-to-date information on progress enables Flow-Right to be more efficient and provide a better experience for their customers.
