The story in brief

Founded in 1972, iDCC Services Ltd is a family-run building contractor with over 45 years of experience, operating across London and the Home Counties. Over the decades, the company has established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction, maintenance, and refurbishment services across a wide range of sectors.

Specialising in projects that often involve heightened security or sensitivity requirements, iDCC supports a number of prestigious and high-profile sites. Its client base includes royal household estates, Ministry of Defence (MOD) locations, prisons, and historic government buildings, reflecting the trust placed in the business to operate in complex and secure environments.

Known for its responsiveness and reliability, iDCC also places a strong emphasis on rapid service delivery, with 90% of call-outs attended within just two hours. This commitment to efficiency, combined with decades of industry expertise, enables the company to consistently meet the demands of its clients while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.

01
Their Challenge

Before Joblogic, iDCC used in-house software for key tasks such as allocating jobs and creating invoices. As workloads increased, they needed a faster way to view job progress, improve reporting, and keep invoicing moving without manual chasing and delays.

02
How Joblogic helped

Since moving to Joblogic in December 2017, iDCC connected office teams and engineers through the mobile app and back-office system, so job information can be sent and received in real time. Managers can view job information and reports at a glance, see what tasks have been addressed, and understand which engineers are most productive. Invoicing also became quicker because office staff no longer need to call engineers to gather invoice details for each job.

03
The outcome

Shane hails the reduction in administration as the biggest benefit since implementing the software. This has saved a significant amount of time each day as not only is any admin paperless, but it can be sent between colleagues at the click of a button. Shane explained that this was especially important for a small business like Target Refrigeration, and it allows him and his team to concentrate on growth, while spending less time in the office.
