Improved User Interface
To further improve the user experience, our Joblogic team are working on visual enhancements of the software, while functionality remains the same. Over the following weeks, you will see some redesigned pages of Joblogic. The visual enhancements include the following: improved layout via logically reorganised fields, and question mark help tips.
These changes will be released in batches with the first one coming on the 14th June, 2018. More updates are to be released in the upcoming months.
We have redesigned specific pages of Joblogic to bring a more logical and simple layout. These pages include the following: Create Customer, Create Site, Create Asset, Log Job, and Log Quote.
Not only do the changes look more visually pleasing but they enable you to distinguish between inputting the actual details of a job, and who the job is allocated to.
Question Mark Help Tips
To support our goal in making Joblogic simple and easy to use, we have added help tips in the form of question marks:
In the above example, when the user hovers over the question mark next to a field, it gives a clear definition as to what it means.
New UI Button
The button that allows you to switch from Joblogic’s old user interface to the new one is named ‘New UI’, and located within the top header menu:
This button will be temporarily available for 4 weeks, allowing you to switch between the old interface to the improved one. After this time, the new interface will be implemented indefinitely. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to start using the new layout immediately to get familiar with the future look of Joblogic.
