Can I add a link to the Customer Portal to my website?

Yes absolutely! Simply get in touch with our Customer Support Team who will be more than happy to send over a section of html code that you can add to your existing website code. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

How can I access Engineer Tracking?

To access engineer tracking, simply get in touch with our customer support team who will activate the feature on your account. As soon as the feature has been activated a tab will appear on the portal called “Engineer Tracking” and a request will automatically be sent to your engineers to agree to sharing their GPS co-ordinates with our app. As each of your engineers agree to sharing their location, you will see live and historical tracking data appear on your engineer tracking screen.

Why should I use the customer portal?

The customer portal is a great way to keep your office staff, contractors and site managers connected. From logging jobs & quotes to simply viewing historical or future jobs, the customer portal provides total transparency and a better user experience for all parties involved.  Not only are you able to have access to job data, but your staff can track engineers locations, monitor performance dashboards and log jobs on the go via web.joblogic.com. What’s even more exciting is that all customers have free unlimited access to the customer portal with any full purchase of any of our products!

My trial has ended – how can I upgrade to the full version?

If you are happy with how Joblogic Web has worked for your business, you can transfer your trial account to a full license in a few simple steps. Simply click on your username in the top right hand corner of the screen and choose “Manage Subscription” from the drop down menu. Within this screen you will see an option to add your credit card details, once these have been added hit activate to begin the subscription service. All Joblogic bills will be withdrawn monthly from this account.

How can I export my invoices to my accounts package?

To export your billing data into your accounts package simply navigate to the left hand side of the screen and choose the “Reports/Exports” module. Within this screen there will be a variety of exports that can be imported to most major accounts packages (Xero, Sage & Quickbooks) in .CSV format.

We do have plans to introduce an automated link to these systems in the coming future, so watch this space for more details coming soon!

How can I add a new office user?

To add a new office member you will need to navigate to your username in the top right hand corner of the screen and choose “Users” from the drop down menu. Once in the user’s screen choose “Add User” and enter all of the details for your member of staff. Please ensure an active email address is used for the office staff member as this is where the password and account activation email will be sent. (Please note: As soon as this account has been added to your system it will be automatically added to your monthly Joblogic Web statement).

How can I add a new engineer?

To add a new engineer you will need to navigate to the “Libraries” tab and choose “Engineers” from the drop down menu. Once in the engineer’s screen, choose “Add Engineer” and enter all of the details for your technician. Once this has been completed tick “Invite to mobile application” and press save. Please ensure an active email address is used for your engineer as this is what will be used to activate the invitation sent from Joblogic Web. (Please note: As soon as this account has been added to your system it will automatically be added to your monthly Joblogic Web statement).

Can I have my data imported into Joblogic Web?

Of course! Simply talk to on ene our customer support team members and they will be able to provide you with an import template to allow you to add your pre-existing data into your system. The imports we currently offer include: Customer, Sites, Parts/Assets.

How can I start using Joblogic?

Firstly, take a look at our pricing page and see which features from both Joblogic Enterprise & Joblogic Web are most suitable for your company. If you find you are more suited to Joblogic Enterprise, simply give our sales team a call on 0800 326 5561 and they can give you a fully personalised demo and quote to suit the needs of your business and users. If you feel you are more suited to Joblogic Web, simply sign up for a free trial, add your users and you are good to go!

Where are you based and where are the nearest hotels?

Joblogic and our training center is based in the heart Birmingham’s creative quarter, Digbeth. If you are visiting for just one day, we have plenty of direct and cross country transport links close by. We are just 10 minutes walking distance of Birmingham Moor Street Station and 15 minutes walking distance of Birmingham New Street Station. If you are planning on staying a little longer, there are many hotels to choose from to suit a wide variety of budgets and requirements close to our Digbeth office. Please see the below map for some suggestions of close by hotels & apartments.

How long is each session?

Typically most training sessions run daily from 9am until 4.30pm, however if you have any special requests or requirements for training times, please feel free to talk to one of our trainers who will be more than happy to accomodate the day to suit your business needs.

Can I have my data imported into JLWeb?

Yes! Simply talk to one of the Customer Support Team members and they will be able to provide you with an import template and add your pre-existing data into JobLogic. The imports that we currently offer include: Customers, Sites & Parts/Assets.

My trial has ended – how can I upgrade to the full version?

If you are happy with how JLWeb worked within your company, you can upgrade your account to a full version by clicking on your company name in the top right hand corner and choosing “Manage Subscription” from the drop down menu.
Within this screen you will see an option to add your card details, once these have been added click “Activate” to begin the subscription service. Any of your monthly bills for JLWeb will be taken from this card. If you no longer want to continue with your subscription of JLWeb, you can simply go back into the same screen, cancel the monthly payments and suspend your account. (If you would like an extended trial period, please speak to one of our Sales Team members who can extend your trial time to suit your company’s needs).

Can we use our clients’ names and sites to practice?

If you do have names and sites you’re happy to be included in your training, then please let the training team know on or before your Pre-Course session. We’d be happy to customise the training data as much as possible, to provide you with the most comfortable learning environment possible.

What else can we bring that may be useful?

There are many different things to help your training go smoothly such as customer and site information, however if there is something a little more unique to your business that you think may be useful please feel free to mention it to our training team. The greatest strength of our training is that it’s tailored to your needs, so feel free to make any suggestions to help us help you.

How can I export my invoices to my accounts package?

In order to be able to export invoices to your accounts package, you will need to use the Reports/Exports section of the system. This will then export the information and provide a file that can imported into your specific package. For further information regarding which export to select, please contact our Customer Support Team. We are currently working on an automated link between Sage, Xero & Quickbooks, watch this space for more details!

Can we bring dummy jobs to use in training?

Of course, any information like this will only add to the training session and allow our trainers to make the data being used more relevant to you.
This in turn is proven to make the learning process easier.

What do I need to start training?

As we design all of our courses so they are bespoke to each and every customer, we have no specific requirements to start training other than a willingness to learn. Other things that may help with training are customer, site and costing information. Although this is not essential, many of our clients find it easier to learn how to use Joblogic whilst using familiar information and costing methods.

How do I add a new office user?

To add a new office user you will need to go to Corelogic > Maintain Data > System > User Maintenance and choose the option to add a new user. To ensure your user can access the system as required, you will need to remember to assign the necessary permissions and passwords to the account. Please note: If you are hosted by us and you require an additional Remote Desktop License for your new member of staff, please get in touch with your account manager and they will add your new license to your agreed contract.

Can I add a link to the Customer Portal to my Website?

Yes absolutely! Simply get in touch with our Customer Support Team and they will email across the details your website developers will need to link WebLogic to your website.

Can I log a job?

Yes! To log a job in WebLogic you will need to go to Sites, choose the Site for the new visit and go into the Site Details. Within here you will see an option to “Log Job” in the top right hand corner of the screen.

How can I access Engineer Tracking?

To access engineer tracking you will first need to speak to one of our Customer Support Team members to switch on the background setting to track your engineers GPS locations. Once this has been switched on and your engineers have agreed to share their GPS coordinates with our app, you will see an option for “Engineer Tracking”. This new screen will show live & historical updates of your engineers current movements between jobs.

Can I log jobs/quotes on my phone?

Yes! To activate the function to log jobs/quote on your mobile devices, please get in touch with our customer support team who will be able to switch this feature on for your company. Once you have the feature activated you will be able to log jobs and quotes offline, and even add new job prospects to your database on the go.

How can I add my own forms to JobLogic Mobile?

We do have a large library of industry standard certificates and forms available, so the chances are we may already have something available that will suit your companies needs perfectly. If there are no suitable options, please feel free to get in touch with the sales team who will start the process of getting your bespoke forms set up for electronic use. (Please note any bespoke forms will incur a charge for development time required).

Why are my engineers not receiving their jobs?

The main reasons why engineers sometimes do not receive their jobs is that they do not have a strong or reliable enough internet connection to allow them to download the job information to their devices. In some cases jobs can take up to 10 minutes to arrive on your engineers devices that use the offline version of the application. In the unlikely event of your jobs not arriving on your engineers device after 10 minutes, please get in touch with our customer support team who will be able to investigate this right away.

Can I use JobLogic mobile if I have no signal?

Yes! Joblogic mobile can be used without signal if the application has been installed from either the iOS or Google Play app store. The application will allow your engineers to complete their visits complete any forms and collect signatures whilst offline. The application will store this information and keep it safe until it can communicate with Joblogic via a secure internet connection. (Please note: An internet connection will be required to initially download new visit details to the device.)

Is my device compatible with your applications?

Joblogic mobile has been designed exclusively for use on Android devices (mobile phones & tablets) on version 4.0 upwards, and iOS devices (iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch) on version 8.0 upwards. Both of these platforms have a native app available to download from their respective app stores. Unfortunately, Joblogic does not currently support Windows mobile devices.

I’ve forgotten my Remote Desktop password – how can I reset it?

Oops! To reset your remote desktop password please contact the customer support team either by calling 0800 326 5561 or emailing [email protected] You will need to have your username to hand (your company name + number) to ensure the correct account is unlocked and reset. Your password will be reset and your account will be accessible within 5 minutes of your initial request.

Can I have my data imported into JobLogic?

Your data can be imported in 1 of 2 ways. If you are on version 7.0.2.8 or above you can import your own data via CoreLogic > Maintain Data > Import Data. Within here you will have access to import templates and an import tool. For full step by step instructions of how to import data please visit the Support Portal where a full import user guide will be available. Alternatively, get in touch with our support team who will be able to import your data for you.

How can I export my invoices to my accounts package?

To export your invoices to your accounts package you will need to have the LinkLogic exports for your specified accounts package activated on your system. We currently support most major packages such as Sage, Xero & Quickbooks, but we can make arrangements for other programs as required. If you do not have the exports activated, please speak to the support team members who will be able to activate them for you.

How do I add a engineer?

To add a new engineer you will need to go to CoreLogic > Maintain Data > Engineers and click on the Create New Engineer button. Please ensure all information relevant to the engineer is added to the record, including an email address and password should your engineers need to log into Joblogic Mobile

How can I add a new office user?

To add a new office user you will need to go to CoreLogic > Maintain Data > System > User Maintenance and choose the option to add a new user. You will need to remember to assign the necessary permissions and passwords to ensure the account can be logged into. Please note: If a new license is required please get in touch with your account manager and they will assist with getting this added to your agreed deal.

How can I change my password in Joblogic?

Changing your password regularly is a good practice to ensure security of your company information, so we always advise resetting your password every few months to prevent any unwanted entry to your system. To change your password, go to the users icon and click on the username of the account you would like to reset. Once you are in the user record, hit change password and save your changes.

How can I change my engineers password?

To reset your engineers password go to the engineers maintenance screen, choose the engineer, and add the new password to the “Password” box at the bottom left hand side of your screen. Don’t forget to press save once you have made any changes!

Can we bring dummy jobs to use in training?

Any data you can provide will help training… If you provide customer/client information such as addresses, engineer details and examples of finance or maintenance contracts, then your trainers will be able to set up the system you’ll use for training with data that’s familiar to you; making the learning process easier.

What do I need to start training?

The things you need to get training off to a smooth start… If you could provide your training consultants with customer site lists to create a data set to recreate and follow real life’ scenarios.

Can we use our clients’ names and sites to practice?

Please let us know your requests before training… If you do have names and sites you’re happy to be included in your training, then please let the training team know before your training begins. We’d be happy to customise the training data as much as possible to provide you with the most comfortable learning environment possible.

Can I filter my jobs?

You can filter by job type or status… On the service desk, you can easily filter jobs by type or status using check boxes to put only the jobs you need to act upon at the front of your screen.

Where is the nearest hotel?

There are many hotels close to our offices… You can find a hotel to match your budget close to our Digbeth offices. You can see the closest hotels by checking this map.

What happens when my business grows?

Joblogic has been designed to grow with you. As the system is completely scaleable depending on the needs and size of your business, you have the flexibility to grow and evolve side by side with Joblogic. No need to change it on their device… As soon as you make a change in JobLogic, they will be reflected on the engineer’s device.
